| The video below is of a lovely Pajero, kitted out with some bits and bobs. Personally I love the Pajero, If my Terry was not that good this would be what I would have to get. I think this is a good example of a nicely set out vehicle, + the Off Road Caravan behind is pretty amazing....

| Must admit, that's a well sorted vehicle. What do you think of Patrols? I know the Aussies love 'em, much more so than the Paj. |

I also really Like the Patrols. I was talking to Assassin about them the other day. We recently took a old shape LWB Patrol auto 4.2 diesel in part exchange and it was pretty impressive. Even for a older vehicle. We did take it out off road on a few greenlanes and not being very familiar with the vehicle I did get it stuck twice. Its quite different in behaviour to the Terracan but im sure over time as our skill driving it would develop it would become an epic off roader.
The things that I really like about the Shogun or the Pajero, are the road handling, comfort, Super Select 2 Transfer case, the 3.2 DiD oil burner and despite having independent suspension all round the levels of traction available are excellent.
I have not driven the latest model of the Patrol the y62 but I did own a y61 2.8d auto patrol before the Terracan.
Looking back at the Patrol that I owned, the 2.8, it was slightly better off road due to the rear diff lock, but the Terry is a very good balance and compromise for on and off road driving & It also pulls alot better too. If I was more in to greenlaning and pay and play sites then I would have kept the Patrol but at the time I needed something that was more balanced and versitile, offering better levels of comfort and economy, especially when towing.
If only there was the money and disposable income to buy new from the factory and throw £5k-£10k at a vehicle.... _________________ Looking for a new Vehicle
