who has tried? who has failed? and who has succeded?

i managed it with a selection of differant sized strops and chains to move both my rangie and ambulance in tight spaces up and down hills Laughing
takes a while but gets there in the end
i have seen a few funny attempts this year Laughing

but great as a last resort

i have a jackall but never used it to winch with , i have however used a ratchet strap . know thats hard work . Rolling Eyes

yes ratchet strap done that very hard and slow butdid work cheers

Fortunately my vehicle is a "lightweight" so I can get away with my 4T hand winch. Makes you sweat a bit, but it works well. I "tried it out" on a steep hill and was great.
