Bought us one this week and got to play with it this morning. Best cup of tea I've ever made tongue

I think my technique needs refining a bit, but this is going to be a real asset when we're travelling.

I was tempted by the Jetboil, but the price put me off. 2 mins to boil the water though, very convenient if you're happy with the hit in the wallet!

We used a kelly all the time on our trip to NE Morocco at the end of last year, it was brilliant and well worth the cost. It enabled us to brew up for 5 a lot quicker than on a ordinary stove and it only used the wood/scrub/grass/fir cones, that was lying around with a bit of waste paper to help get it roaring away.

Great bit of kit, highly recommended!

There is an alternativeb to the 2 minute cuppa, but it may take up a bit too much space - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2239190/Tea-machine-makes-perfect-cuppa-just-minutes---cost-7-000-teabags.html

You have an inverter on board don't you? No excuses, run down to the shops and get one - only £150 a go.  affraid

May have to build another box on the roof to house it though!

Nope. Don't fit them. Don't like them, too inefficient.

Although we do have 240 Volt onboard for the cooker. Most stuff is either 12Volt or fire.

The Trangia is a good cooker

"Peej green" - unique, you don't get that on a Dulux colour card. That historically is what we have always used as a guide before hand-brushing our Land Rovers ... unless of course some Arab tells you it's "mighty fine yellow" only it turns out to be wishy-washy pink!!!  laughing pound

Kelly's for us, we get the mick taken a lot when drying out our used tea bags, we have a sealable jar with meths in it and just keep it topped up with dried tea bags so they submerged.
Chuck a soaked teabag into the Kelly fire bucket light it and never fails.

Thats a really great idea, thanks for that, will give it a try, not a problem keeping the jar full of tea bags as I always have a brew on the go.
