A friend of mine has just bought this ambulance which he is reviving with the intention of taking it to Morocco.

Sorry you can't see much at the mo but the barracades are to stop wind whilst he is replacing the cills etc.

I'll get more photo's later.

Wish you hadn't posted that photo, it has reminded me about a vehicle I missed out on last month. On ebay it only went for £1,600 - just didn't have the dosh available at the time, so had to turn my back. Wanted to buy it for our Moroccan trip, readymade for the job. Hardly an 'off-roader' obviously, but it would have kept the beers cold ... would more could you ask of a campervan?

Grrrrrrrr!!!!! mad

Amazing what a lick of paint does (won't even think about all the elbow grease it takes to prepare it).

Good start. cheers

OK, now I have a vision of driving across the sahari in a 4x4 truck (ex-ice cream van). Fully decked out in Mr Whippy pain job and with a suitable Greensleeves jingle playing. Hmmm, tempted Laughing
