Hi, I always order my ACSI card and Aires books from http://www.vicarious-shop.com/

Give them a try as they have all of the Aires/Wild camping in France and Spain as well as Portugal so you'll save a small fortune on camp sites. Also if you go anywhere out of season the ACSI card will save you money in the campsites as well.

John.

If you're motor homing don't forget France Passion as well, not campsites but if your self contained, farm and vineyards a good way to see rural France

depends on where you drive in portugal regarding the road toll system
which is generally the bottom end

as regards to camping we did portugal top to bottom last summer, drove down thru france and spain from calais to get to portugal then drove back up thru spain to get to santander for the return trip so could give a few suggestions which may help give me a call 07980539915

hope to be of some help kevin

We are planning a trip down there in August..... Will be driving all the way from Calais there and back as quotes for ferry's during the school holidays were ridiculous for my 110 with roof tent and 2 kids!!
Plus got friends we want to visit in France  glug

Scott and GA team.

Hi Scott
I'm a local so any info you need feel free to ask me. I'm more than happy to help in exchange for beers. cheers1

August is a bad time for offroading due the fire season restrictions and also due to the heat.

Nevertheless there is a lot to be seen.

Regards

Hi titomenders....
Yep, I understand the restrictions at that time, but I have no choice as I need to plan it around my work rotation and the school holidays.
I don't mind the heat and neither do my kids. We were in the Sahara last Aug!!!
I am waiting for some info from this guy - http://www.dreamlandrover.com/en.html
Yep, im happy to exchange info for a few  cheers1

Looking forward to it..!!!  thumbsup

Scott.

Hi Scoot
Dreamlandrover is a comercial operator and a good one.
You are well taken care with them.
They can provide you plenty of information.

I'm here to help anyway if you need.

Regards
Tito
