Hello Overlanders,

We are Rob and Nettie from the Netherlands and we are driving a Toyota LandCruiser HZJ78 camper conversion. The truck has got the name “GeoCruiser”. W’ve got the 4WD-fever in 2004 in Australia and we bought our Troopy in 2009 in the Netherlands.
We are preparing an Overland travel through the America’s, from Halifax in Canada to Patagonia in Agentina. The plans are to stay away for two to three years, but first we try to sell are house.
Untill we do sell our house, we want to visit England and Scotland coming May and June.
With our GeoCruiser we visited in 2010 a lot of countries in South-East Europe like Macadonia, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Roumania and a lot more countries. In 2011 w’ve been in Morocco and last year we visited the French Pyrenees. You can find our stories and pictures on our website www.geocruiser.nl (with Google Translate)
Our interests are old cultures and nature, 4WD-íng and we like to take a lot of pictures.

We like to share our adventures and experiences with you guys on this forum and of course learn from you all.

Happy Trails, Wink

Rob and Nettie

Thanks folks,

We feel welcome already.
As long as we can't start our overland travel through the America's, we like to be in Great Britain. Until now w've been in England 5 times, next time will be the first time with our GeoCruiser and we hope to find some 4WD tracks especially in Scotland. Smile

Greetings, Rob and Nettie

Then w'll have to do with the mountain passes and forest tracks. It will not stop us to come to Scotland.
We are very interested in megalythic sites and we understand there are lot of those in Scotland and that is the goal of our trip. We already visited a lot of megalythic sites in Southern England and we are curious to those in Scotland. Wink
